Local Authorities, NHS and Emergency Services

Every tonne of waste saved by local authorities counts.

Office Green provides many Emergency Services, NHS Trusts and Local Councils with borough-wide toner cartridge, inkjet cartridge and mobile phone recycling schemes.

We can provide collection boxes throughout the council offices, schools, libraries, hospitals, doctors’ surgeries, police/fire/ambulance buildings and other sites whist also ensuring an environmentally sound returns program.

Free of charge or revenue generating

Subject to the printer platform installed our recycling schemes are generally free of charge and revenue generating depending on whether smaller sites have a centralised storage policy.

Cartridges and mobiles collected by Office Green are destined for reuse and therefore lessen the impact of your own activities on the environment.

Extending inkjet cartridge and mobile phone recycling to staff and borough residents

We also offer a freepost return program for inkjet cartridges and mobile phones.

This can either be as simple as including our freepost returns address in newsletters, e-shots and staff magazines, to as some councils have done, sponsoring Office Green freepost returns bags to be delivered to borough residents.

Freepost bags to residents and small business’s has shown how pro-active and stimulated recycling initiatives really can make a difference to landfill e-waste.

Legislation

We provide Waste Transfer Notes for each collection and Waste Carrier Licences of either ourselves or our contracted courier or haulier.
