Chargeable non-landfill WEEE recycling

Unfortunately, not all waste electronic items have enough value, even as raw materials, to cover the collection costs. Our PAYG WEEE recycling services therefore offer an easy and simple non landfill disposal route for this unwanted, low value tech.

A new concept - Pay As You Go (PAYG) WEEE recycling

In Office Green’s mantra of keeping all things simple, we offer a PAYG WEEE recycling option to those users who do not have the required product mix to enable us to offer a free recycling service or for those that just wish to know in advance a fixed price for having their WEEE removed.

Other clients just prefer the convenience and focal point of a WEEE recycling box. Our boxes at last provide a home for all those broken keyboards, mice, DVD drives etc that no one ever really knows what they should do with!

This PAYG recycling service is free from complicated contracts or commitment, so it can be used as often or as little as required.

Items that can be accepted:
Currently we accept all IT products but our PAYG boxes are best suited to, small computer base units, small printers, phones and computer accessories (such as keyboards, mice, DVD drives, USB devices, cables etc).

If you have lots of computers, servers, montiors, large printers etc then our PAYG scheme is not the best scheme for you so please contact us to help advise you further.

Fixed Priced Recycling

  1. Users are required to purchase upfront our Office Green collection boxes @ £2.50 each plus delivery. Each collection box is approximately 50 x 44 x 84cm (W x D x H).
  2. Delivery of the collection boxes costs £6.00 for up to fifteen boxes at a time.
  3. You can fill the collection box with as many electronic items as you wish up to a maximum box weight of 25KG*
  4. Once the box or boxes are full, Office Green will collect and recycle the box contents for a flat price of £22.50 per box*.
  5. Your WEEE will be processed in line with our "Zero to Landfill" policy.

*Please note boxes over 25 kilograms may well be refused by our couriers and if not may be subject to an excess weight charge of £1.25 per kilo.

Pay by weight recycling

  1. Users use their own boxes to pack their electronic items into.
  2. Office Green will charge £27.50 for the collection and recycling of up to 30KG of WEEE.
  3. Any additional weight will be charged at £1.25 per KG for collection and recycling.
  4. Your WEEE will be processed in line with our "Zero to Landfill" policy.

Possible additional surcharges

  1. For clients located in the following post codes the above prices are regrettably subject to a 50% surcharge – AB / BT / GY / HS / IM / IV / JE / KW / ZE.
  2. Any consignments containing hazardous WEEE (i.e. screens, white boards etc), will be subject to a £20.00 surcharge per consignment for the mandatory paperwork that is required by the Environment Agency, in addition to a surcharge per hazardous item for safe disposal.

All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.
