Data Security
The protection of the environment and privacy of any data contained on the used mobile phones that we collect is central to our approach in how we process them.
The majority of handsets save personal data to either the SIM card or removable memory card.
We therefore advise all users to remove these cards before sending their mobiles to us for recycling. Any cards that are received are physically broken to prevent any data access before being sent for raw material recycling.
We use approved industry standard software on working handsets to delete any personal data that may have been left on them.
